Was out the other day and finally remembered that I have a camera in my phone (duh) - Anyway, here are some pics with a dash of HDR.

What kind of phone do you have--those are pretty crisp.
Like the idea of you posting a cell phone series-
Love #3--the close up shot (in the midst of the stampede) with the skyscrapper in the background. Say that's not the "green" building is it?

Really well done, great perspectives and lighting.

Hey Liz,
Cell phone is a Verizon Voyager.
I always forget that I've got a camera in my phone. I might take pics with it more often. I have no idea what building that is. I stay out of Dallas as much as possible.
Thanks Eia,
I took these shots with my camera phone just to see what I could do with it.
I edited my original post to add an image from the 5D2 at the same time/place.
Hello Mr. Craig,
I didn't even know this park was in Dallas. I might go back to take some shots that are more intentional.
I like your updated post shot--Ok so there is a major difference---still your cell phone shots are still way better than mine--:) I blame my cell phone:D
FYI-- looks to be the same http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bank_of_America_Plaza_(Dallas)

Nah, I think the aliasing and compression artifacts from the cell phone gives the image a much more. The new one is too crisp
Nice grabs on both counts, though. My cell phone keeps getting pocket lint on the lens...
Who is wise? He who learns from everyone.

Those are pretty nice for cell phone shots. I like the composition in #3 best.
I'd like to see a reshoot of #3 with the 5D2. What focal length was the edit image taken with?

(My real name is John but Jack'll do)
Is that a new special effect?
Hello Jack,
I probably grabbed that same comp with my 5D2, I'll have to look for it. The 5D2 shot was with the 24-105L IS f/4 @ 24mm.
Good photos Randy
