There now, did that hurt?! lol3.gif

I actually really like it - my only nit is the bundle of whatever-it-is in the front right, which drags my eyes away from the cool door-outside-window-inside comp.

    Ah... colour :D

OH no "you've been spotted!" and in color--your membership is about to be revoked.
    :)
I'm teasing of course--I think the shot is funny. Love that he is sending the peace sign and that you titled it Nihao.

Not much of a story behind it. We had wonderful weather in Shanghai over the weekend and Sunday was particularly nice. Everyone had their linens and comforters hung outside to dry and air out before winter fully settles in. As a result, the back alleys were awash (hah!) with lines of sheets and duvets and pillows in a rainbow of colours.

This particular shot is in an alleyway off a street I hadn't explored before. Very close to where I live, but across a large road that I simply hadn't crossed on foot. Glad I did.

I'd wanted to try to create a Mediterranean feel, architectural and colourful, no people. Then the man stepped in, waves and says "Nihao"

Do you think this would qualify as an "Oops"?

If you titled it right I think yes.

Love the color - wish the dorky guy wasn't there. If he wasn't we'd have the wild awning, then the grays in the doorway, with the color of the thermos bottles, and a really nice composition...rolleyes1.gifrolleyes1.gif
