Sunrise at Snoqualmie Falls

My plan yesterday morning was to sleep, but I woke up at 5:30 AM and noticed that the 100% cloud cover that was forecast was more like 85%.

So I packed my gear and headed to Snoqualmie Falls as I knew it would be running high with all the recent rain and that there was a chance for some nice backlit clouds.

The second view point which is further downstream from the falls is closed so I had to use the closer view point which had a lot more spray, and I got soaked and only had a few exposures that were free of spray (even though I wiped my lens after each shot). It was fun!

Here's the shot:

Were the paths open yet? We were there a few weeks ago, and there were construction fences up.

Despite the high cost of living, it remains popular.

Why do people post their equipment in their sig. Isn't it kind of like bragging? That having been said...
