My First Attempt at a Damselfy

Walked along a long trail yesterday and a damselfly flew by me. It landed on the dirt near me so I made my frist attempt at getting one close up.

20D, 18-55 lens at 55mm. Converted from raw (a little from the provided software Canon included.)

    Now that I look back at the other dragonfly pictures, this one does look different. I'm not sure what it is.ne_nau.gif It looks similar to a dragonfly, though. Anybody know what it is?

    damsel fly i think -- but the are in the same family thumb.gif

    Can a mod please modify the topic title to say "Damselfy" rather than "dragonfly"?

    Ben and I on sunday made the comment that we now know more about birds and insects ect than before picking up the camera rolleyes1.gif i still have not found out what end to shoot tho ne_nau.gif
