Just curious what your thoughts are. Obviously the Nikon has a wider range than the Tokina. Tokina is faster and cheaper. My next lens, focal length wise, that I have is 17 -50.

Anyone have either of these? How well do you like them?

I hear wonders from the 11-16... go for that. it has a constant aperture.. the other one doesn't. Its going to be the next lens I get most likely.

I can't tell you much about the 10-24. But the Tokina vs. Siggy 10-20. The Tokina was much more in favor. And thats what I ended up getting. Very crisp and fast!

Thanks for the feedback. Have you seen any focus problems with this lens? Just curious because of a couple comments I read about it not focusing fast or searching for focus point.

At any given time, the AF will lock onto at least 5 different points. It's really fast. And the blue's just seem to pop out. I took it to vegas and I thought for sure that the exposure would vary, but it made everything look amazing.

Only a UV filter and some minor adjustments in LR. But most of it is straight from the camera.

I too have been thinking of this lens Tokina 11-16. I want a nice wide angle for certain projects. Especially after how happy I am with the Tokina 50-135 ATX Pro f2.8. I bought a while back. The quality is very nice and priced reasonable
