Tried to explore a new section of the North Fork Nooksack River here in the North Cascades but the lack of low elevation snowpack made conditions a bit too dangerous to proceed. So, while I was in the area, I decided to look at a new section of an unnamed creek that I've looked at before...

I didn't quite notice the twigs in some of the photos at the time so I'll probably re-shoot them this coming weekend. Thanks for looking...

    Whoa, that first one is wild! I'm not sure I entirely like it as a photo in its own right, but that is such a weird and interesting effect as the river bed emerges from under the fall. Overall, I probably like #3 the best of the group.
