I know this needs work, but does it convey "oops"?
Haven't found any windows or windshields yet with the appropriate organic matter on it but I thought I'd post this to see what you guys thought. :dunno

- You don't need to find a windshield. You can take a photo of yours from inside
and ad that to it, plus the bird flying away

...that's what I'm having a hard time with: adding chunks, etc., to make it look real. Can't quite get it to look right in PS. There just aren't many bird poop tutorials available on line for Photoshop.

Very funny, well executed. Nice job!
Take a picture of a stucco wall or some other really textured surface. On a seperate layer on your original....clone or brush the texture in and fade the surface to like 5 or 10 percent. You can change the color of the texture to a puky green or something. That is how I would approach it.
STUCCO!!! clap
You're right. That would be perfect. Thanks!
Now to go find a building with a stucco exterior...rofl

(No you wont be using the picture directly)
Open the picture with photoshop and select the bird poop using color range.
Once the selection is where you want it, turn it into a new layer.
Select the pixels on the new layer and fill with black.
Turn that selection into a brush.
Use jitter etc.. on the brush to make it look random and paint it white.
Fade it maybe put another layer with green and browns in it and add a layer mask and make only small parts come through into the white, use a soft light or overlay blending mode.
With layer masks , grey brushes etc.. you can make it look very convincing I think.
Or use stucco, that might work as well!
Comments and constructive critique always welcome!

This has been discussed before but since you are rather new....all images must be accounted for and be fresh. Every pixel you use you need to be able to account for. From the rules....
Proof of Fresh Photo: Entries must have exif embedded (do not use methods such as "save for web", which strip exif info). As such, only images taken digitally will be accepted (no scanned images). Photos made via HDR must include the exif from one of the merged images. Composite images must be composed entirely of fresh images, and must include exif from ALL of the images used.
Go and buy a piece of glass from a window's store, and then,
go into a park with geese and put it on the ground, near to them.
I'm sure in few minutes you will have it

My first attempt at "realism" using a stucco texture: rofl
I could not make a green look convincing.
If this doesn't pan out, I think I know where I may be able to get a shot of the real stuff. Oh lord -- never thought I'd see the day I'd go out to photograph bird$hit. What is this world coming to? :nono

Brushes are OK to use, though. I've used a bird brush in an earlier challenge and I know that nightpixels has used them too.

Thanks, Elaine. See what you missed out on?
