    things
    Hello,

That frog photo is quite good. She must have thought about the composition a bit more than most first time shooters as the lines and frog placement work well.

D2X or P&S doesn't seemed to be the limiting factor.

Good shooting that your wife did. I got out my S230, I think it is, Canon Elph, for my husband. We never used it, but I was getting it ready, charged the batteries and all.

It seemed so small, but I remember that the shots with it were not small. Those little cameras can do good.

Not that they have the reach of multiple lenses, but they sure are handy and much lighter than a backpack full of lenses and stuff with a camera around the neck.

Tell your wife, good shooting. And I liked that last shot, too.

    Hey Ben,

Laura did just fine. I think she's ready to move up to the D2X. rolleyes1.gif

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

The butterfly is nice, but I really enjoyed the picture of the frog and of her taking a picture of the frog. Maybe she could teach me how to do this. Very nice work.

Thank you all for your nice and positive comments.
Of course I have a great teacher in my husband (Ben said I had to say that :D)

I must tell you all that it is a real kick to watch Ben & Jeff go shooting they find things that I would just walk by and never even notice, but I'm watching them and learning.

    Gluwater:
Ben took that shot while I was shooting the tiny frog

thanks Harry, but I'm going to have to settle for Ben's FZ when I move up thumb.gif.

thank you Eric for your comments and for being such a good friend to Ben. You and your wife and soon to be gorgeous daughter are in my prayers daily.
