despite the impending winter weather it looks like I am going to be paddling and photographing through out the winter for a project with my friend. Burrr I'm going to need to upgrade my thermal protection. Any way here are a couple from a recent recon trip in Raccon Cove, which has to be paddled at high tide because at low tide the cove is nothing but mudflat, strong NW winds made crossing the cove a fun wet rough challenge, C&C welcome thanks for looking.
1. Eagles nest seen from the water.
2.
3.heading up a small stream in the back of the cove
3. the "seals eye view"
4. a small waterfall that at a higher tide is passable by boat
5. some cool clouds over Medow Point (Dave built this house last winter)
6.our trusty steeds back the staging area of Dave's yard (personaly I like the typical Down East shed)
7. from the path to the water
8. Drying out the gear... you can tell it was a good paddle from the salt crusted on the sunglasses:wink
