Sigma 30 f1.4 vs. Nikon 35 f1.8
Okay, I know I'm new to this, but why is the Sigma twice the price of the Nikon. I know the Sigma is a stop faster, but....? Is the Sigma a better lens? Would I notice a difference? Focus speed, etc.?

the nikon will most likely AF more reliably.
the nikon is smaller and lighter, and half the price.
I'd go for the nikon, but I shoot canon, so I've got the sigma (though I have used both, i'm not just talking out my butt.) Your results may vary with the sigma as far as quality control goes, it's kind of hit or miss.
