I want to start this post by saying what a cool company Lensbaby is.

On November 7th, our photowalking group, Photowalking Utah, Lensbaby, and camera store, Pictureline, gave over 60 photographers in Salt Lake City the chance to demo gear for an afternoon. Lensbaby sent 25 Composer’s for Canon and 25 for Nikon, plus a few Pentax and Sony mounts. They also sent the Muse, macro, wide angle and telephoto kits to try. After spending an afternoon playing with the Composer, I was bitten by the creative bug and bought one with the accessory kit.

Here are some images I took last weekend with the Lensbaby Composer.
Canon 40D - Lensbaby Composer - 2.8
Canon 40D - Lensbaby Composer - 2.8 with wide angle - Holga with Nik Silver Efx Pro
Canon 40D - Lensbaby Composer - 2.8 with telephoto
Canon 40D - Lensbaby Composer - 2.8
Canon 40D - Lensbaby Composer - 2.8 (my two boys riding in Willy Wonka's elevator at the Salt Lake City Main Library)
Canon 40D - Lensbaby Composer - 2.8 (my two boys running back to me after a fun elevator ride)
Canon 40D - Lensbaby Composer - 2.8 - BW with Nik Silver Efex Pro - HDR with Photomatix Pro
Canon 40D - Lensbaby Composer - 2.8 - BW with Nik Silver Efex Pro - HDR with Photomatix Pro
Canon 40D - Lensbaby Composer - 2.8 - BW with Nik Silver Efex Pro
I need more practice, but so far it's been a lot of fun!

In particular I like the Union pacific, the footprints and the yoga sign. Hope to see more.
I have the Muse, so I miss my shots all the time--but it's so sweet when I nail it and gratifying.

BTW, I don't think I've ever seen monocrome HDR images before.
