What are these birds?

I think it could be the juvenile and also a molting thing, but I am seeing some birds I have never seen before. The blue one, on your right, on the wood thing below is one. Can anyone ID the blue bird below?

Those were early, as I came towards the rookery........
They should have been good photos, but they aren't. None the less, that bird is a new one to me.........and my book is no help......

Below is later in the day, towards "leaving time". Another "blue one"???
no clue..........if I look very close the beak even seems strange?? In fact, that beak may be the clue. I hope you can see it. ginger

    My guess Ginger is that the blue bird is a maturing Little Blue Heron. The LBHs are all white when they are born and then start turning blue when they mature.
