    Fantastic capture. They are really an ugly bird, but many will be on out tables on Thanksgiving........

    Great capture Ric thumb.gif Getting one to hold still long enough for a shot can give ya fits.
    Unlike many folks I think the wild turkey is one of the most beautiful game birds there is. Watching one walk into a meadow as the sun is coming up with the soft light hitting his feathers is beautiful. When he goes into full strut the reflected sunlight creates a kaleidoscope of colors that even as often as I have seen it still takes my breath away.

    The one on the left in this photo is to be the guest of honor at our Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. mwink.gif

    Cool capture Ric. Hope you had a good turkey day. They sure are ugly but they make fine eating.

    I had a bunch of family and friends over for the day. I had to roast one bird and smoke another for the crowd.
