Hi - I wasnt sure where to post this but this group seemed to be the right audience to answer. I've just started playing with smugmug, but before I post more from my library I would like to resolve this question.

Here is what I am trying to do:
- When I post images or share images electronically for marketing purposes, I frame them in a black border and give the image a name and have my website info on them, copyright, etc.
BUT
- when a customer wants to purchase the prints, I would want them to be able to order a print with all of that extra information not present

I think there are two ways to accomplish this, would like peoples thoughts on the practicality of each, or alternative answers:

Option A:
- put my gallery (with the border etc.) on my own website
- at my website provide links to a purchasable print at smugmug
- at smugmug, keep images that are clean

Option B:
- post my pictures with the borders at smugmug
- when a customer orders I set the order to be held for a few days
- I get notified, go to smugmug and swap the file for a clean version
- send the order
- then replace the clean file with my bordered version

thanks for comments. I am just going through my library and getting ready to have everything ready for January 1, and I'd prefer to only set this up once.
