It has been a while but here are a few pics.
It's funny (or not) how life can step in and take me away from my fun hobby. I have had very little time for photography for various reasons, work, mid-life crisis, winning the lottery (wait I just dreamed that one), but anyhow, here are a few recent pics.
My resident bluebirds are still demanding more and more mealworms.
The duck migration is nice once again. Here are two canvasbacks with a greater scaup in the background.
The red tailed hawks, while everywhere, are more visible now because of the loss of foliage.
I have also had some time to find some butterflies around the house.
Clouded skippers
Cloudless sulpher
Hopefully I will be a bit more active now. Life seems to have calmed down a bit.

How far did you have to walk to find the hawk?

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
Thanks Charles. This hawk was about six miles from home.
