My room is 13ft. by 30ft. I know I have a lot of space.
What lighting kits do you recommend. I would like something that is strobe lighting.

I use Alienbees, and have found them great for simple, reliable and cost-effective strobe lighting.

Have also worked with Elinchromes… more maintenance issues with those.

Others wil be able to recommend other brands.

What are you looking to do with them? What is your studio lighting background, education or experience? How much are you looking to spend?

FWIW - I've had good luck with Adorama Flashpoint II monolights. They have several kits with lights, stands, umbrellas/softboxes, etc. I added their radio slave transmitter/receiver set to be free of cables. It's a budget system, even compared to ABs. I have 4 monolights - 2 x 150ws, 2 x 300ws and it is fine for my studio space (20' x 40').
