Since we can't grow these in my area, I tried to get a shot while up north. I wanted to capture28863480-L.jpgthe true colors...

    Trish beautiful, looks like you got the colors perfectly. I love hydrangias! I never seem to get them that blue again if I put them in the ground.

    Going to Huntington Gardens tomorrow [yes, in the bloody heat here in L.A.] Photo shoot with a group in my area. Looking forward to everything but the heat. rolleyes1.gif
    Hope to find some that aren't too burned up. lolol

    NG you simply have to lower the soil PH to make them go from pink to blue/purple. Just add some sulphur around the base of it...its not a fast process but it always works.

    If you want them to go the other way.. ie purple to pink then add lime to increase the soil PH.
