Apply gallery settings by pointing to existing gallery

On the New Gallery page (and Gallery Settings page), under "Quick Settings" you can select "Use settings from" and pick a user defined settings template. For me personally, I forget what settings I save into these template files but i never forget how I use my existing galleries.

Therefore I propose we add to this the ability to point to an existing gallery on the New Gallery page and the Gallery Settings page and have the new gallery inherit settings from it.

I have nothing against your feature request, but couldn't you work around the existing situation by just making quick settings with names that match a representative gallery?

That would be how to work around it, but I'd like to get out of having to keep those files updated as I change the usage and settings of a gallery.
