Broken but not broken link to my gallery

This link goes to my gallery:
http://njjuliano.smugmug.com/gallery/164954/1/6204758

and states that there are no images on the gallery. But there are 4 pages for the gallery on the top left, and when you click on them, it brings you to the same gallery, "Wedding Images."

The original link is a link from a search, and it would be nice that when my link is clicked, it doesnt go to a page that says there are no images.

Is this an empty gallery that is safe to be deleted? How might I fix this situation? Thanks for the info.

    Suggest emailing support directly
I'd suggest emailing help@smugmug.com for a more direct answer.

My only wild guess would be something related to site customization, but it appears that all the rest of your galleries are password protected so I couldn't try any of them out.

That particular link is to a very specific image in the gallery (the first number indicates the gallery, the /1/ indicates the page in the gallery, and the last number indicates the specific image). You have deleted that particular image though, so it has broken that link. If you just use:
    http://njjuliano.smugmug.com/gallery/164954/
it will go to the gallery just fine. I hope that clears it up!

I reported this a while ago here. I think SM should handle this more userfriendly:

When the picture was deleted just inform the user about it.
When the picture was moved as in my case, direct the user to the new gallery.

One of the great things about SM especially for forum-users was that directlinks to pictures remain valid even after moving them to different galleries. The logical extension then would be to do the same thing on gallery-level. mwink.gif

Thanks for the responses thus far.

Is there a way to get rid of that broken link, or redirect it as per Sebastian? As mentioned, the link came up on a search, and leads the user to a page that says empty gallery. Not all users are savvy enough to just click around the page. Also it gives an impression that I dont update my pages.
