First image post in a long time. This was an indoor show with Lipizzaner Stallions. Lighting was spotlights arranged around the arena. This was taken with a Canon 5D MII and an EF 70-200 f/2.8 lens @ 170mm, f/5, ISO 1600.

    I agree with Azzaro -- beautiful thumb.gif

I even clicked to make bigger -- Did you run this through a denoise program or is the 5D MII that good with noise set that high?

    Thanks for the comments.

To further expand on the processing - the camera was set for AV (-1 stop exposure comp.) @ 1/320 sec. For this capture the on-camera high ISO speed noise reduction was disabled. The image was imported into Lightroom 2.4, cropped, and some dark/light balancing done. No other adjustments were made.

You've showed that if you take a photo well -- little editing is needed thumb.gif
