On Black Friday I went out with my P & S (I figured it would be less noticeable than an SLR) to document for the Picture Black Friday project. I'm only allowed to submit five photos. Please help me select the Top 5.

Thank you :)

AAah so jealous you did this and I didn't--I wanted to walk to the mall (2 blocks away) but nothing short of a guaranteed million dollar giveaway would have forced me to go--Good for you--and I knew they would make for great shots.

    Here are my favorites.
#5--This to me of all your car shots is most descriptive of the "finding a spot" and lugging your loot to the car. In all the other car shots, unless you know the area, you don't know what the cars are in line for.

#9 The shot of several lines and the massive crowds is great, the bored people, the ones with cell phones bored to death! It's a little bit of hell!

#12 This one shot of this long line is just great! The arms crossed (tension!), scratching of the eyebrows, the poor soul in the back of the line peeking to see how many people are in line ahead of her. These are stressing me out just looking at them.

#13--I just really like the B&w conversion on this one and the close up of the people.

#15--Man the vacant eyes on that poor salesgirl says it all.

    Bravo!

PS_-Andrew and I are running a mini challenge in the Challenges Forum--It's Challenge 86 "Preparations" and I think you have some real contenders to submit--just FYI.

    For me it's definitely either 8 or 9, and probably 9. mwink.gif

Thank you very much for the feedback! :)

#14 - He looked up and saw me, but I really don't think it phased him that I took his picture. He just went right back to what he was doing after that shot.

#15 - I found out that most of the staff had been there since 3:30 AM. I took that shot at 11:30 AM. I think that cart was holding her up!

Side note: All the staff was wearing black (for Black Friday) which my wife thought was neat that they all coordinated their outfits.
