Acadia Sunrise

Still processing shots from the 2009 shootout in Acadia. This was my first shot, taken on Cadillac Mountain at an ungodly hour of the morning. The fog was thick, the wind was about 40 mph, and the temperature was 39º F.

Yeah Dan, that just looks cold. Especially with the people on the rocks huddled together in the fog.

Dan, what a gorgeous way to have captured the moment! I think we can all feel how cold and dark it was, but your fellow shooters huddling in the fog really takes the cake. Great catch

Fantastic, I love fog, and rarely ever get to see it with the exception of my roadtrips to the PNW and photographs.

Thanks Thwack. That's exactly what I thought, but I guess when you get up at 4 AM and drive up Cadillac Mountain to see sunrise, you endure whatever you have to. I know I did. brrrrrr
