yet another silly question about uploading files:
when converting RAW files into JPGS to upload onto smugmug gallery -
at what DPI should the images be processed ~~ end purpose: for viewing and hopefully print orders! at 72,180,250,300????
thanks for any info!!!

Smugmug will then automatically make many display copies of your images for use as the various different sizes used in the web display (Ti, Th, S, M, L, XL, X2, X3).
dpi really is meaningless in the Smugmug world. Both dpi (dots per inch) and image size (in inches or centimeters) are merely metadata tags on your images that neither Smugmug not it's printers pay any attention to.
All that the browser, Smugmug or the printer care about are your original pixels. So, just don't do anything to change how many pixels you have (other than any required cropping). Trying to change the dpi can inadvertently resample your pixels and damage or degrade them. Don't do it.
