Took my Son's Cub Scout Den "urban camping" at the Gilbert Riparian preserve a couple weekends ago. Here's some of what the boys got to see.

Peach Faced Lovebird. Oddly enough, there's a healthy feral population of these little guys in Phoenix

    What a great day you must have had. thumb.gif Great for the kids too. I love it when they learn more about nature, which seems to be absent in the schools.
