New Sigma 17-70mm, f2.8-f4 OS HSM
The Sigma 17-70mm, f2.8-f4 DC OS HSM was apparently announced, but there is no information about it at the Sigma site just yet.
Similar to the:
Sigma 17-70mm, f2.8-f4.5 DC and
Sigma 17-70mm, f2.8-f4.5 DC HSM (Nikon only)
... that preceded it, the new lens is slightly faster at the long end and appears to be a new formula. Since the preceding lenses were reviewed to be pretty good image quality, and since this new lens has both image stabilization and HSM AF-motor technology, I would expect pretty good things for this lens too.
Oddly, the lens is lacking the "EX" title that Sigma gives its best lenses.

MSRP $680 ($100 more than the non-OS "Sigma 17-70mm f2.8-4.5 DC Macro")
Sigma is also touting that the stabilization system is compatible with Sony and Pentax cameras which have in-body (chip based) stabilization, but it appears to be either body based stabilization or lens based (optical) stabilization, but not both at the same time.

I don't see the lens at Adorama or B&H yet.
