Studio Management Software

Does anyone here use management software. I'm looking for something relatively inexpensive, I'm just starting out. But I need to track clients, emails, shipping info, expenses, invoicing, scheduling, etc. Any ideas, recommendations?

How's the MAC version of QuickBooks? My PC is on its last legs so looking for something to run on my MAC.

Works well now
The newest version of QuickBooks for the MAC is greatly improved and now mirrors the PC Version.

Thanks very much. I'd been avoiding it due to supposed problems, but now I just have to see if it's available in a Canadian version. thanks again.

I guess we shouldn't be so surprised... I checked the Canadian Intuit website, and unfortunately, the Canadian editions are NOT available for the Mac. It reads so at the bottom of this System Requirements section:

Looks like Moneyworks (made in New Zealand) is one solution. Canadian AND Mac/cross-platform:

I'd heard very good things about this program and their support.

This app has been getting rave reviews for the Mac. Haven't given it a try my self yet, but it looks quite good:

I have used Sugar CRM myself, and it is amazingly powerful, but can be slightly fussy if you want something other than a community template. However there are tons of templates around. It all depends on how much work you want to put into it vs turnkey. Sugar CRM is open source and free, and there is a pay version.

True. I called Intuit Canada and the (slightly snotty) sales rep told me there wasn't enough demand for either on-line Quickbooks OR MAC version Canadian quickbooks. Too Bad. I liked the program but they are expensive, too.

I bought MoneyWorks and am trying to learn how to use it. It's not quite as intuitive as QuickBooks though.
