Dozy wasp

Found this wasp suffering from the cold on a camelia leaf.. Not sure if it's a drone or a queen. It detected the warmth of my hand at one stage and decided to have a walk on it. All 5Dmk2/ MPE-65/430Ex flash.

These are very neat! I like his "hair-doo" in those last two.

Nice ones! They are very lethargic when it's cold. Looks like he was very cooperative.

Phil - not sure on the species, I have trouble telling the queens and drones apart let alone the common, median and german species
