Not sure where to post this, but I'll try here...
I have been getting email from this company inviting me to submit stock images and signup for assignments. here's a small sample of the email. Anyone heard of them? They must have gotten my name from SmugMug or LinkedIn. Thanks
Picture Stock is affiliated with 53 agencies worldwide that sell pictures of all subject matters. They can place and distribute your existing or new pictures on their network and have thousands of potential buyers view and purchase them over and over again. You will continue to receive recurring royalties on the same pictures for years to come.
They do not sell royalty free images and all pictures are licensed for a minimum of $300 per use. About 9,300 images are sold per week through their network of agencies. The images you have right now; work you have already done could already be worth a small fortune to you and a check can be in your hands as early as next month.
I did some more research and found out they are mostly a scam. BEWARE!
