Was out shooting cyclocross again this weekend. Capitol Cross in Reston, VA. We got 3" of snow the day before that had just started to thaw by the time the races started.

That meant mud.

Gotta love the mud. I got snow the day before up in Marysville. Judging from all the photos it was an excellent finish to the CX season.

That's what I'm talking about! I would've loved to make it out on Saturday but I was *ahem* out a bit late on Friday night. That, and Reston is only 30 mins from my house!

I used to race 'cross. I must have been nuts. I don't even like riding my dirt bike in the mud anymore and it's 100% tougher on a bicycle and definitely harder on the machine.

    Those are so great.

I don't know much about cyclocross but had the good fortune of having the Nationals in town (Bend, OR) today so I got out to shoot the Mens and Womens elites. I'll post a couple up.

    Crazy racers. Crazy spectators. clap.gif
