Montgomery Woods is located about half way between Ukiah and Ft Bragg Calif. On the way to Montgomery Woods you wll encounter open vistas wth Douglas Fir, Pine, and Madrone trees which gradually become more densely grouped the farther West you travel. As you draw closer to the coast the Redwood tree begins to take over the landscape.
