Lots of talk about HDR. Here's one I did recently in which my only goal was to cope with a difficult exposure.

Thanks for looking. C&C always welcome.

    Hi Richard,

I'd say goal accomplished. I wouldn't have known this was an HDR.....which I believe is in keeping with the original idea behind the process to start with. Nicely done.

    Take care,

... and a very nice example of a "not overdone" and not obvious HDR. Rather, this image has great balance and the tones are "blended" not "baked".

    Good stuff Richard. thumb.gifthumb.gif

Good. Maybe I'd tone down the brightness of the building just a little.

I hate overdone HDR. This one is good.

    Howdy Richard,

I really like this one a lot, really well composed and great balance in the lighting.

Really like how all things in this image just seem to "POP" but not over exaggerated, just enhanced.

Looking forward to seeing more of this style!!!
    Take care,

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. The building is stark white and it was in bright sunlight. The only way I could get some color in the leaves without blowing the architectural details was combining multiple exposures. I was shooting hand-held, but CS3 did a fine job of aligning the frames.
