Some very cool shots, with the blue sky color, Ben. But the tern w the fish, it is outstanding, IMO.

I suppose I could ask why fluffy white clouds are grey where you live, but then, ..............I do have green algae.

Very good, though. I like the way you shot up at the GBH, too.

USM (unsharp mask) in photoshop, used on raw files after conversion (usually a tiff file) used for "local contrast enhancement". Don't worry about the names.
    Just set the sliders to:
    top one - 40-60
    2nd one - 20
    bottom one - 2
    and watch the magic thumb.gif
these are not hard #'s just a starting point thumb.gif

Just started using this myself (all of the above shots), thanks Harry !!
    Hope that helps, buddy :D

Excellent shots Ben. That 300mm is a really fine lens. It works very well with the 1.4 TC also giving you a reach of 420mm.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
