Here are a few pics from last weeks two ski mountaineering trips.
1.
The wind was kicking up the clouds. Here we are finally topping the glacier.
2.
Whistler, a hour or two away received record snow in November (the most for any one month for them, I believe) and so much early season snow allowed us to get some early season skiing in the area.
3.
Near the summit of Cayoosh Peak.
4.
My fingers instantly froze here. The temps were below 0 and wind chills -30 or worse.
5.
The hut managed to stay at about 10-15 degrees. Home sweet home.
6.
On my last trip, a tree branch at sunset.
7.
Ice encrusted branches.
