    Mike,

    Really like the first shot - good timing and good view of the striker's eyes. That's what makes the photo. Good sharpness and good color.

    The second one, while being sharp and having good colors is less interesting. The net obscures the blockers and the striker's back is to you with a lot of distracting elements / dead space.
