wanted to shoot some falling rain but not too sure how to get this done. I was thinking lighting on a slow shutter to get that motion falling blur. Anyone have any tips for shooting in the rain?

Thanks

Place your camera on tripod and frame some colorful objects (flowers etc)
    Switch focus to Manual
    Use Zoom end
Focus at nearest rain drops and then click

Here are images i shot using above technique
    Using 100mm macro at f2.8
