I've just hired a new assistant. Do you like her?

Do you all approve of her? Better question is, do you think that is really her hand holding the lens or is it someone else's ? :D

I assumed it was her hand.
You may want you new assistant to keep her finger a little further away from the open end of the lens there, though, one little slip and you have dream sequence photos.... :D

But, I'm sure she makes up for any technical shortcomings by being cute and sweet.

You are both correct. It is in fact her hand. My heart was pounding the whole time she was holding the lens, but I said what the heck, let's do it. I had 2 people email me on another site telling me that the hand captured in this photo is a mature looking hand so they were both convinced that it cannot be her hand. I was just curious what you guys thought.

That has become one of my favorite all-around lenses with the 5D. Light(ish), sharp and nice range for utility. Glad you didn't have a picture of her looking down with the "Oops" look.....

Lol, you are right about the oops thing, Andrew. I agree with you on that lens. 24-105 mm is a very nice all-purpose lens.

Too cute! The other day my 3 year old grabbed my dSLR to bring it to me to take her picture. When I saw her coming my heart was RACING too! OMG she has my camera--- held by the strap in her TWO little 3 year old fingers. PANIC!
