I can feel your pain, or at least what you may feel when the meds wear off. eek7.gif
The worst is, even after really working hard to wean off the pain meds, I still suffered withdrawal :cry

I'm doing well - 6 weeks post surgery on Monday. I can drive, I'm off pain meds, PT 3x a week, Gym 2 other days a week. I can bike and use the stair machine fine now. I can do most anything non-impact with my leg/hip - but I still can't tie a shoe or put a sock on that foot. Few more weeks for that.

    Thanks!

Speedy recovery, hope all is well. Physical therapy is the key. Sent a patient for hip replacement today!
It is, and my guy is a godsend. He's so good I'm doing some work portraits of him next week as a thank-you. clap.gif

ok Steve Austin... slow down, you will be back to OSI headquarters soon enough...:D

    (six million dollar man)
You're not far off lol3.gif I tallied up the cost of the whole thing, $77,000 all-in, Surgeon/Doctor visits, Xrays, meds, hospital, surgeon, anesthesiologist, physical therapy. Holy cow it's expensive. Thank goodness we have awesome insurance, this thing cost me $0 out of my own pocket.

Wow I'd love it - let me see how the workshop goes in Death Valley in April, then I'll know....

    Sounds good.

How I wish I was going to Death Valley, too. Kid, work, and stuff in general keeps me going. I wish I had a smug job so I didn't have to work so much.
