This is where Aaron and I spent some time last weekend.
We'd just shot the sunrise, and I grabbed this pano just as we were heading back to our camp to get some breakfast.
Scroll right to see the whole image.
9 horizontal shots (I probably should have shot in portrait), 58mm focal length.
This is about 180 degrees field of view. The pano was built in Photoshop CS4. It actually did a pretty good job on it. :huh
(Usually I use more exotic tools to make panos, but they don't work from TIFFs which is what I wanted in this case.)
Thanks for looking!

Hey thanks, Awais!! Speaking of huge, just be glad I didn't pose the original size pano. The TIFF is 650MB, and 36,500 pixels wide. :wow

I love stiching panos but this one takes the prize - it's huge - great job.

Thanks, Rocky. Yes, you're right. There is some reptilian action going on in those rocks.

Thanks, Lauren! It took quite a while alright. I didn't time it. 20 minutes maybe? Might have been longer. I have a pretty fast computer. I'll let you know if I decide to print it. It is tempting.

Thanks, Eia! I'm noticing a pattern here. You people really want to spend my money!

Thanks, Rags. Originally they were on the list. Long story, but we decided against it this time. Next time for sure, maybe when it's warmer. That's a long hike out in very soft sand.

Thanks a bunch, Schmoo. Mars, I'd say.
