Winter finally arrived (in full force, by the way!). 15+ inches in one day last week...decided to brave the weather and get a few shots of some barns I've been wanting to shoot.

#1: Rustic (converted to B&W and added grain)

#2: Frozen Postcard

CC welcome!

Holy poop, 15 inches already? Batten down the hatches and keep warm!

I love the read and the wood in the second shot. You're right in that they are very rustic :D I'd crop out a little space at the bottom as the empty foreground isn't doing much for me, but it's a great, classic scene. thumb.gif

We've got the snow but sure don't have any great landscape possibilities like that. I like the last shot.

I like the composition of #1 better, but would like to see it in color. I like the color in the 2nd one.
