Quick Trip to Colorado

Last week I spent 48 hours in Colorado for business and as usual I brought my camera.

It was a little frustrating being in such a photography rich state (IMO) and having a limited amount of time and daylight. Add in my bum leg and cast and the frustration grows. :wink

Anyway, here's a couple from the trip.

"Casey Jones you better watch your speed" - Grateful Dead (With you in mind KDOG)

"But I'm like a fish out of water down here on the farm" -Guns and Roses

"We're gonna light up the world tonight" -Christopher Uckermann

"Comin' down the mountain" -Jane's Addiction

"Life is a highway I want to ride it all night long" -Tom Cochrane

Thanks Deano. There's no shortage of photo locations in your state.

Below, are a few "B-side" shots from the trip.

For 48 hours I would say you did a darn fine job! It is funny how I take my own state for granted and don't shoot much or don't see it the same way. I think Schmoo said the same thing with my San Fran pics awhile back. Always neat to see someone else's perspective of a place you spend a lot of time in.

I missed this first time around, Adam. Holy cow, what a gorgeous selection of images. :wow :wow :wow

That highway light trails through the mountain is crazy cool. And the big horn sheep and the fox... heck they're all fantastic. Man, you scored huge!! Great shootin' there, pardner. bowdown.gifbowdown.gifbowdown.gif

I wonder if I know those Bighorn Sheep. Lol. Was that taken in Rocky Mountain National Park by chance?

    Sorry, go fish. :D

The Bighorns were taken in Georgetown. In the last 14 months I've been to RMNP twice and never seen a Bighorn. You'll have to tell me where they are hiding in the park.

Wow. Even the B-side of that album is great.
