C&C would be appreciated if you have time to give it, what with the holidays and all.

The first one is pretty soft. It would be great for their faces to be sharp.

Nice first though, I do like the ring shots the most. Was this a small wedding?

I agree the first one is soft, but I loved the moment I captured.

Yes, a very small wedding, they had it at her parent's house, there were only like 10 guests (including me and my wife)

I iloveyou.gif the ring shots. the most, you have a knack for 'product' or detail shots lol.

btw what lense/ focal length did you use for 10? and how close were you standing?

Nice pictures. On #11 I would suggest cropping so she had more space to look into.

That's a Nikkor 55-200 VR. At 122mm.. I was probably 5-6 feet away (it was a small ceremony).

The first shot is a cool moment, but distractingly soft. I like the rest. I really like the "hands on the guitar" shot. I had not seen that done before. I may steal that idea. :D Really nice close-ups.

In defense of the first shot - the bride will likely look at it and think about what they were giggling at - not that it's soft. We can all see that here and comment about it, but we're supposed to be able to see that kind of thing and call attention to it. Most times, I'd rather capture part of that moment and have it soft or blurred a bit, rather than miss it entirely. I agree that the ring shots are fantastic - love the one with the heel upside down - very cool. Might have to put that one in the back of my head for somebody with a cool pair of heels next time !
