A handful of images from a wonderful wedding this weekend. Out doors. Temp was 26 F; wind gusting to 30. All shot as observed:

Love number #1--sweet sweet moment.
#2 cracks me up--the struggle to get in the dress? Where you standing on the edge of the bed for that shot?
#6 I like the people laughing at the bride for having to take her coat off--would rather see it in b&w just kidding.
#7 Looking at her wouldn't know it was so cold, then you see the the woman conducting the ceremony in her polar wear--The bride looks so serene.

Thanks, Damon. Of course credit her parents with that.:D

In answer to the question - No - I think I was in the doorway.

Thank you, Virginia and Rutt. And indeed you do, Virginia. I shot the wedding as my wedding present - which was the least I figured I could do after she interned for me without pay at Harvard for about five months!

What a perfect wedding present.

#1, #2, #3 are nice; I think the B&W is v. effective, esp on #2 although I'd get rid of the black box on the bed, either clone or perhaps better to crop (that way could get rid of the stuff on the right of the frame) - yeah, I know you said these as observed… #2 reminds me of frosting and wedding-cakes (or, without the wedding associations, penny-farthings and ghosts )
#4 Nice composition…
…burning question: I wonder if someone's filled the washer-fluid yet?
#5 is brilliant! My favourite, and no caption needed! (love the dog… )
#6 …love the shadows!
#7 …lovely light, but she's squinting…
#8 …would be nice to see the other hand (ring etc. etc…)
#9 …hmmm …the only thing in focus in this one is the tiny piece of the bouquet at the extreme right (oh, and the door-frame on the left); I don't understand this pic… Sorry, B. D. but to me it looks like an accident…
Looks like a great bunch of people enjoying themselves despite the cold!
Thanks for sharing!
