Howdy Mary,

The only light was from a window to the right. The way it was lit by the incoming light, that eye looked downright evil to me The eyelash was hers, although the eyelash on the other eye was missing (making her look a lot like Alex from A Clockwork Orange). But the story to me was this eye.
