The eternal question in the bush: who is lunch to whom?
I really shouldn't have rented the 500mm lens. It's one of those life events that just messes with your head forever, and my life will never be the same! Such a beautiful lens!
Just after all the vehicles around us headed back to the lodge on an afternoon game drive as sunset was approaching, our guide spotted this cat perched in a tree. Taken in Tarangire, Tanzania:
500mm * 1.4x TC, 1/125, f/5.6, ISO 1600 on a 7D.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
