I've had these done for awhile but work has kept me so busy I haven't had time to even lurk. Here are a few from the Acadia Shootout.
#1 Midday at Thunder Hole. Looking back towards Otter Cliffs. An attempt to get as much dynamic range from a very bright scene.
#2 Long Exposure Sunrise. 34 second exposure when we were practicing getting smooth water before sunrise.
#3 Bernard Harbor Dawn.
#4 Working Harbor on a Wet Morning
#5 Carriage Road Color. This was the last day to shoot. We went in on one of the Carriage Roads to find some streams and waterfalls in the area. This area was at near peak color.
As always C&C welcome. Others can be found here.

The wet sheen on the rocks of #1 stands out to me.

Yup, you should have come. Then instead of shooting rocks and sand you could learn to shoot something completely different .... rocks and water

Thanks for the comments. The shoot that morning was kind of a throwaway. We were scheduled to go over to Bernard and all got up at 5a. But it had been pouring all night and the pros canceled the shoot. But some of us decided since we were up we'd head over anyway. Some interesting shots resulted, especially before the sun came up.

#3 is truly stunning. That and #4 are great examples of why it pays to get up early!
