Revolutionary War Re-Enactment
These are some photos I took at a Revolutionary War re-enactment that took place at Washington Crossing State Park in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Each state has a Washington Crossing State Park to commemorate the 1776 Christmas Day Crossing made by George Washington and his troops. On that day Washington crossed the Delaware River from Pennsylvania into New Jersey with 2400 men. They marched to Trenton, NJ and trounced the Hessian garrison that was posted there.
This re-enactment took place at the dress rehearsal for the actual re-enactment event that will take place on Christmas Day. It rained the entire day for the dress rehearsal but the crowds still came to watch George and the boys cross the river.
Rest of the photos are here.
