Reworked Goose BIF

I've been using NeatImage for my noise reduction software for a year or so. To-date I've always just used it with everything on auto settings. In the long winter nights here I finally got around to reading the manual etc. Reworked this previously posted goose image that I really liked but was never quite happy with. In addition to reworking the NR I backed of a little on the PP warming filter. I think the reworked version is much improved but would like to hear other opinions...

The redo is nicer...although I see some haloing around the foot.headscratch.gif

I rarely use NR on the subject itself...it always destroys detail...I'd rather have the noise. Applying it selectively on the BG and deep shadows does work for me, however.

    Very nice Dan. thumb.gif

I just switched from Noise Ninja, to Define 2.0 which provides selective noise reduction.deal.gif

    That's what I use, Dan. :D

If using PS you can do the same thing with Neat Image by adding a layer mask and painting in the effect.

A definite improvement Dan. Now you have me wondering if I should read the instructions for all of my plug-ins. :D

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
