New to the site and SLR...

Hi everybody I just registered for this forum tonight after stumbling across it from Smugmug.com. I recently just purchased my first SLR (Canon Rebel XS) and I am absolutely loving it. I took some pictures today and figured I'd post them here for some tips and tricks as I'm new to SLR's, hope you enjoy.

    Thank you very much. Yea, I love the thing. I'm still learning thought especially when it comes to shutter times and things like that...I'm hoping to learn quite a bit from these forums.

    Looks like you're well on your way. As stated above, it looks like you have a creative eye. The tech side will come with practice and reading and observing here. Shoot, shoot, shoot.
