DIY Macro Lensing!

I have not tried this myself, yet. From MAKE: online magazine: Weekend Project: Macro Photography On a Budget and Weekend Project: Macro Photography On a Budget (PDF).

    All the shots in the video were oof headscratch.gif

    To me, the best part of macro photography is the razor sharp shots taken with a macro lens.

    I'm not surprised! He's a hacker/dyi-er, not a photographer!

    I built a little something last year that has yeilded decent results. My version is portable and can use different magnifications (for microphotography). It does require a LOT of light though.

    THanks for posting this. I have a Pentax bellows set just like this, I will have to try something similar. I have only used it with a Manual Pentax 105mm lens. (My 'new' Macro set-up.)

    Pretty cool setup, I should try using my bellows with my 100mm and see what I can get.
