I re-worked this in preparation for printing, but I would like to know what you think before I place an order.
Thanks,
Dan

I might reduce the saturation of the blues a bit, but then again it may just be my monitor.

I was thinking the same thing Mike, after I posted. Thanks; that is very helpful

I have to agree with Mike about the blues, though. I'd tone them down a bit to get some more true whites and grays in that snow.
Anyway, very nice work here!

I see the blue cast, but it doesn't bother me. In fact I rather like it. To my eye (which I assure you is "off") I like the contrast between that and the red sandstone!

I would mask everything so you are just working with the sky and try to bring out the color that is in there.
if it were me, I would lose some blue in the snow, and I would enhance the light hitting the rock....
If you duplicate the layer, and set the copy to "Multiply" blending mode, then mask out everything else, you should get an instant jolt of color to the sky... will probably be WAY too much, but you can dial it down by lowering the opacity of the layer...
Just a thought since Aaron brought it up... That method has worked for me a number of times!

I prefer #2 on my monitor, but #3 is brighter and may print nicer....

I was going to make the same comment about the blues, but you've already got a handle on it.

starting your gallery inventory early huh?
how big? and how printed?
I have an opportunity to possibly show my work in a gallery right near my home. I am building up inventory to fill the walls.

It's a 20 X 30 on the new thin metal high glossy mounts. It just arrived, and I must say it is perfect in terms of calibration. I love this product. Check it out

I honestly tried Awais, but the picture of the picture doesn't do it justice, and I'm too lazy to work the lighting and set up a tripod. Trust me though, it looks just like #3 at the beginning of this thread. No frame, just a 1/8" thick piece of metal floating on a wall. Everyone should buy a small one just to see how good this product really is.
Thanks for asking
